I hope everyone had a wonderful 3-day weekend!
Monday, January 24 is the 100th day of school. This is a very important date for our school, as we receive funding from the state on this day. It is very important that you make every effort to have your child at school and on time this day. Thank you for your help! We will be celebrating it by having LOTS of fun activities to do during the day, and the school will also provide all students with a free hot lunch and b-bque!! We will also be wearing our PJ'S this day!
February 7-11 is Love of reading week. During this week if your child has a SHORT favorite book that he/she would like me to read, please send it in. Make sure, however, that you have your child's name written on the cover somewhere so it does not get misplaced.
February 24-25, No school - Rodeo Break
The school WILL be having a 4-day carnival at the Lakeside Campus. See school flyers for more details.
Parents - please start setting aside your rinsed out empty 1-gallon milk containers! We will be collecting them soon for a science project.
The spelling words for this week are as follows:
1. Want
2 with
