Mid-May

I hope all the Mother's enjoyed their Mother's Day gifts and plants! The kids really enjoyed watching them grow and decorating the "pots." If they did not tell you, there are two different kinds of sunflowers growing in them.

The spelling words for this week are as follows:

  1. came
  2. rode
  3. class
  4. does
  5. holding
  6. spring
  7. funny
  8. once
  9. then
  10. time
Reminder: if you have not already done so, I need all the permission slips AND $4 on or before this Friday, May 13th. Parents, if you would like to attend, please let me know, and you can meet us at the park. We should be there about 9:30 AM.

This Thursday, May 12th is the GIRLS only free dress down day (they won the Penny War)

Next Wednesday, May 18 is Field Day. We will be OUTSIDE most if not all morning. It's a free dress day and your child MAY wear his/her swim suit UNDER their clothing. They MUST keep a shirt of some sort on at all times. Your child will get wet, so you can send in extra clothes or a towel. Please make sure everything is labeled so items don't get misplaced.

Thank you to everyone for the wonderful teacher appreciation gifts!!

Mrs. C
